Know the difference first

Free access to a public TeamSpeak server means you can join and use public features without paying. Free TeamSpeak hosting means getting a separate server under your own control. AmoHa offers the first, not a hosting service for other people.

A free public server or your own hosting?

For a small team, a new clan, or a few friends who play at night, a public server is usually the quickest start. Install the client, enter the address, and join. Infrastructure maintenance, updates, and security are the server administrator's responsibility.

Your own hosting makes sense when you need complete administration, a separate brand and domain, a custom structure, or control over every group. That also brings more costs and technical responsibility. If your aim is simply chatting and gaming, try a good public server first.

What can you do with basic access?

👋 Guest

New members can talk in ordinary channels and create a private room through the designated section.

👤 Normal

Verified members retain basic chat and gaming access and can create a managed personal room.

🐣 Baby AMO

This group's permanent room is exempt from the 24-hour deletion rule for ordinary rooms.

🛟 Private support

User reports and help requests are handled without making the report text public.

Basic groups cannot administer the whole server, edit other people's channels, or create unlimited rooms. These limits prevent clutter and abuse; they are not intended to stop users from talking.

How do free private rooms work?

Guest, Normal, and Baby AMO members can create a permanent, password-protected room under Create a private room (🔐 روم خصوصی بساز). The system puts the room in the right place and moves its creator into it.

  • Guests and Normal users can create only one personal room, so the channel tree does not fill with duplicates.
  • An ordinary room is automatically removed after 24 hours without use.
  • Baby AMO rooms are not removed by the 24-hour rule.
  • Creators can delete their own room, but cannot edit public channels or other people's rooms.
  • Private rooms must have a password to protect the group's privacy.

What is reasonable to expect from a free server?

Free should not mean being unable to talk, unclear rules, or poor security. Basic users should be able to speak, simple features should not all require VIP, and there should be a way to report problems. On AmoHa, all human-user groups have positive talk power and channel codec quality is kept at 10.

A free community also needs anti-spam limits to stay healthy. A one-room allowance, unused-room cleanup, and limits on direct messages or pokes for basic groups serve that purpose.

If you cannot connect or have no audio

Keep the address correct and simple

In TeamSpeak, enter only amoha.ir. Do not add https:// or a website path.

Check your audio input and output

The app may be using your webcam microphone or the wrong output. Select your actual headset devices under Capture and Playback.

Check the mute icon

If your microphone or headphones are muted, the corresponding icon appears beside your name. This is different from a permission issue and is controlled by your client.

Use private support

If you see a permission error, go to Support and reports (📨 پشتیبانی و گزارش). Send the error text and what you were trying to do. Do not send passwords or personal information.

Frequently asked questions

Is joining AmoHa really free?

Yes, joining and public use are free. Special features may have group-specific requirements, but talking in an ordinary channel does not require VIP.

Do I have to stay online to keep my private room?

No. The room is permanent, but an ordinary unused room is removed after 24 hours. This interval is based on actual room activity.

Can I send friends a connection link?

Yes. Send the short address amoha.ir or share the direct connection link.
