Choose the kind of game before the map name

For rifle duels, look at Aim Redline; for co-op, Miami Strike; for a different kind of competition, Jengun or Chicken Hockey. Find them in the AmoHa game catalogue. If your group is growing, Wingman is another option to consider. Read each game's player limits: they are not all designed for the same group size.

What can two people play?

This table reflects the AmoHa lobby catalogue checked on 23 October 2026. The numbers are its listed minimum and maximum player counts, not current online attendance or a promise that a server is ready at every moment.

Five choices for playing with a friend
GameListed playersWhat are you in the mood for?
Jengun · 1v1Exactly 2Take turns shooting without bringing down the tower
Chicken Hockey2–4Score with a shotgun, one-on-one or two-on-two
Miami Strike1–3Work together to clear enemies floor by floor
Aim Redline1–10Rifle duels in a compact arena
Wingman · Inferno2–4An option for a group growing to four

1. Want competition, but not another familiar duel?

Jengun: two players, one tower

AmoHa lists this as a turn-based 1v1 game: take a shot, but the tower must not fall. Consider it when you want a different objective instead of simply chasing kills. Its player limit is exactly two. If a third friend is coming, choose another option from the start.

Chicken Hockey: score a goal instead

The game description is about scoring with a shotgun, one-on-one or two-on-two. It is an option to consider for two people, and also for a four-person group. Agree on what you are playing before you start: seeing CS2 in the name does not mean every session has to be a conventional match.

2. Want to play together rather than against each other?

Miami Strike is listed as co-op against in-game enemies, for one to three players. Its current description is about clearing floors. If you want to practise coordinating, agree on a simple division of roles first: who goes ahead, and who calls things out? That is a suggestion for playing together, not a claim about difficulty settings or features absent from the game page.

For voice communication separate from the game, see TeamSpeak 3 for CS2. You do not need to enter strangers' rooms. Coordinate with your friend and check your microphones before playing.

3. Rifle practice, or a small team coming together?

Aim Redline is described as rifle duels in a compact arena. If the two of you want to practise against one another, that distinguishes it from a co-op choice such as Miami Strike. Agree on how long to practise. A higher maximum player count does not mean you must gather ten people for a friendly session.

Wingman · Inferno is listed for two to four players, but the advertised mode is two-versus-two. Two people do not make two full teams of two: a complete 2v2 needs four players. Do not infer automatic bots or identical conditions to official matchmaking from the capacity range.

Agree on three things before creating a lobby

  1. Your actual group size: are there just two of you, or is a third player arriving soon? Match the game's limits to that plan.
  2. The kind of game: co-op, a duel or something less serious? Decide before the final invitation so you do not have to start over with another map.
  3. Invitations and readiness: for a friends-only session, check the private option and share the invitation only with that group. Do not assume the server is ready before the ready status and connection details appear.

Our guide to creating a CS2 lobby with friends covers Steam sign-in, creation, invitations and waiting for readiness. This article focuses on choosing the game. For public server modes, see the separate AmoHa CS2 servers page. A friendly lobby is not tournament registration.

Quick questions

Does every game in the catalogue work for two people?

No. Fruit Ninja, for example, is currently listed as single-player. Check the minimum and maximum on the actual card. A familiar name or attractive picture is not a player limit.

Which option should I look at for rifle duels?

Aim Redline is described for that purpose. For a different kind of competition, read the Jengun and Chicken Hockey descriptions too. Their objectives differ from a rifle duel.

What if I picked the right game, but the lobby is not ready?

Read the page's current status and error. Send the exact time and timezone, map name and error text through website support. Passwords and sign-in details are not needed. This guide does not promise a fixed loading time or permanent availability.
